PXG 0311 Wedge PXG 0311 wedges offer the versatility to play all the short shots needed to produce consistently low scores. The grooves have been designed to yield the maximum amount of spin on shorter shots near the green while optimizing spin on longer shots from the fairway. High-density tungsten alloy weights ? which create the wedge’s signature look ? are positioned around the perimeter for unmatched feel and superior wedge play. Now available in Chrome and Xtreme Dark. Maximum feel and forgiveness PXG 0311 wedges are the world’s sexiest most forgiving golf clubs. PXG 0311 wedges give golfers the ability to control trajectory and maximize spin. Superior feel and controlled trajectory The PXG 0311 wedges are forged from S25C soft carbon steel and have a blasted face area coupled with a laser etch pattern and wide groove configuration that achieve a controlled trajectory and quality feel. Enhances playability and MOI Tapering the sole design aggressively from heel to toe and positioning tungsten weights along the perimeter the moment of intertia is increased. A narrower heel section effectively decreases the bounce allowing the club head to slip under the ball more easily. Optimizing friction and traction A blasted face area coupled with a laser etch pattern realizes a high level of friction between the clubface and ball. A wide groove pattern allows the ball to easily contact the groove edge on short shots achieving a controlled trajectory and spin. Shaped to perfection Face flatness is held to the tightest tolerance in the industry. A well-shaped wedge allows the golfer to position the face in highly opened and closed positions without hindering one’s shot-making ability. Now Available in Xtreme Dark The Xtreme Dark finish features a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that increases the surface hardness and wear resistance of the finish. In a company durability test the coating outperformed every other product on the market. Currently used in fuel injection systems the finish is the first application of black DLC coating technology in golf. Maximum forgiveness High-density tungsten weights are positioned around the perimeter.
